Upcoming Concerts

Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th at 7:30 PM

Saint Ambrose Church, 2315 E Redondo Ave, Salt Lake City

Our choir’s first priority is safeguarding the health and proper development of its members’ voices. In the process, we draw upon the world’s outstanding vocal literature—including that of classical masters—in that process. This year, we plan to include works of Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Edvard Grieg. We also look to include outstanding folk and popular music from Ireland, Scotland, China, Mexico, and Brazil—including our own lively unaccompanied arrangement of “Cielito Lindo.” Then, the program will likely return to the US with two much-loved Spirituals, our own arrangement (yet to be written) of Herald Arlen’s timeless “Over the Rainbow” and Duke Ellington’s “Just a Lucky So and So.” The program will end with its traditional “A Day in Spring.” Program specifics will be announced later, but as always, this promises to be a musical and cultural feast for singers and audience alike.

Both performances begin at 7:30 PM and promise to be a most heartwarming experience for all able to attend.

Admission is open to all over 6 years of age at no charge (not suitable for infants).

(Suggested donation: $10 per person)
